The EVE Medical Foundation is a non-governmental organization established by HRH Lady Julia Osei Tutu to address health and mental issues of our “EVE’s” whom are our Ghanaian Women. Though many health conditions can be effectively treated at a relatively low cost, the gap between people needing care and those with access to care remains substantial. Effective treatment coverage remains extremely low, which calls for effective mental health legislation governance and infrastructure to ensure that sufferers are given the required minimum attention to heal and make them fully functional members of society.
Our organization is led by a team of dedicated professionals and visionaries who are committed to making a difference in the lives of women and children.
Her Royal Highness Lady Julia Osei Tutu is the Consort of His Royal Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, Asantehene. She received her primary education at schools in London, Accra and in Berne, Switzerland until 1982, after which she entered Wesley Girls’ High School in Cape Coast for her Secondary School education, where she obtained her ‘O’ Level Certificate in 1986 and ‘A’ Level Certificate in 1988.
